Robotics Club
STEM, an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics education, represents a collective focus on these disciplines. This approach is vital not only because each field equips students with critical skills and knowledge but also because they are deeply interconnected in practical, real-world applications. Our club emphasizes fostering innovation and creativity by offering a platform for Project-Based Learning, where students can apply their knowledge to solve real-world challenges and develop hands-on expertise.
The STEM Club session began with an engaging introductory class led by the STEM team. During this session, children explored various problem-solving techniques, learning to identify the root causes of specific challenges. Through hands-on activities involving robots, they discovered innovative ways to develop and implement the most effective solutions. This interactive approach not only enhanced their critical thinking skills but also sparked creativity and interest in technology.
The children participated enthusiastically in the STEM Club activities, creatively constructing various animals using LEGO blocks. These hands-on sessions also provided innovative and straightforward ways to explain mathematical concepts. By building models with blocks, children enhanced their understanding of even and odd numbers. Additionally, they learned multiplication concepts through repeated addition, using the Duplo Model Kit as a fun and interactive learning tool. This approach not only made learning enjoyable but also reinforced their grasp of foundational mathematical principles.
